How the navigation is organized
All of Method tools and functionality have been organized in a consistent navigation layout throughout the platform. Functionality is grouped together based on the action that needs to be executed in the procurement cycle.
An overview of the top-level items in the Method Navigation:
Menu Bar
Provides a starting place located on the left side of the screen to find the essential functions of the Method Platform
- The Menu Bar is collapsible
- Expanded menu: ability to see description text for each section
- Collapsed menu: Hover over icons for description bubble to indicate section
Initials/Profile Icon
Located in the top right hand corner allows you to access your profile and log out of the platform
- My Profile allows you to edit your user profile within the platform
- Edit Profile - able change general user information here
- Indicates the roles and permissions of the user
- Able to add custom catalogs made by you
- Log Out will log you out of the Method platform
Question Mark
The Question Mark Icon located in the top right hand corner will help you access help articles and contact the Client Support Team and allows you to:
- Open search bar to the Support Center
- Able to search for specific knowledge base articles
- Get In Touch Feature will let you:
- Request the support team to call you back
- Leave a message and the support team will answer you
- Live Chat with Method Support Team
Shopping Cart
The Shopping Cart Icon located in the top right hand corner will allow you to put products in a cart to be a place holder or instant shopping
- Indicates the items that were added to the cart and are pending to be added to:
- Quotes
- Requests
- Inventory
- Catalogs
Bell Icon
The Bell Icon located in the top right hand corner that will display notifications within the system calling attention to the user of Request Statuses
- New Requests that have been submitted
- Approved/Declined Requests
Location Indicator
The Location Indicator icon located in the top right hand corner indicates what location the user is Ordering from. The Location Indicator is useful for:
- For multi-location practices, indicates which location you’re making your requests/purchase orders under
- Able to switch locations or create a location from this menu for Practice and Location Admins
