Processing Purchase Orders in Method's Supplier Portal

Learn how to review and manage purchase orders using the Method Supplier Portal.

Overview

When a customer submits a purchase order through Method, you will receive an email notification containing the details needed to process the order. This may include item information, shipping and delivery details, customer information, and additional notes or instructions.

Each purchase order also includes access to the Method Supplier Portal, where you can review the order, accept or decline it, communicate with the customer, and download a copy of the purchase order.

Important: Method helps communicate and manage purchase orders between you and your customer. You will still need to follow your company's standard process for entering, fulfilling, and processing the order in your own system.

Access a Purchase Order

When you receive a new purchase order, Method will send you an email notification.

After accepting the purchase order, continue following your company's standard process for:

  • Entering or creating the order in your internal system
  • Confirming product availability
  • Fulfilling and shipping the order
